HANDS ON Team Lead with complete knowledge of all aspects of Windows Server 2003 build and deployment. Manage AD, DNS, all server admin tasks, SSH, SFTP, MOM Alerting, Robocopy, Citrix setup and administration, logging and monitoring, patching.
Must be very familiar with Netbackup 6.0 and associated reporting features of NOM.
VMWARE experience as well as Centera Administration experience are definitely a plus.
All aspects of the Wintel environment are part of this job, from high level project planning around migrations and application rollout to racking and stacking servers as required. Capacity planning and awareness must be part of core competencies. Due to the nature of this Global Financial setting a commitment to a high level of security awareness, support, and planning is a given. Will also be responsible for all Wintel elements of DR/BCP planning and support.
Responsible for scheduling and coordinating all changes in the Wintel Environment.
Will work as member of infrastructure team consisting of Networking, Unix SA, DBAs, and Websphere Admins. Strong emphasis on 'Team Player' mindset. Will represent all aspects of Wintel environment in planning with S/W Developers and Support units in planning application rollouts, upgrades, migrations, capacity planning. Will also serve as the U.S. presence in a Global Engineering Team in terms of rollout and support of Wintel Servers in a highly engineered and controlled environment.
Successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual who understands that IT is a 7/24 commitment in terms of responding to issues or outages.
